2 busy 2 blog

Sorry it's been a while. Here's a little bit of what I've been up to on the Galaxy Girl front.

1. Earrings
These are all in defferent stages of completion. Some are new, and some are smaller versions of ones I've already done.

2. Wheels
Well, I haven't been up to these, but my Moms have! I stencilled these, then my Mother-in-law, Eva, sewed them all together and stuffed, then my Mom, Karen, stitched them shut and embroidered them. It was tons of work and very time consuming!!! I am so grateful to have help from talented people I trust (and love!) Thanks Moms!!!

3. Photo shoot
Here's Mars posing for the camera! Hi-res photos like these will be used for a number of things in the future- website, pitches, ads. Plus, they'll look cool. Mars' portraits will be added to Milky's, Venus', Jupiter's and Pluto's, which were all shot a while back. I'll put up finals when they are ready.

I'm heading off to New York in a few days to see the Foster's float in the Macy's Thanksgiving day parade (Yay!) So there may be another wait before new posts. The Uranus rag doll is dangerously close to being completed, so she'll be up next.

Happy Thanksgiving, you American Earthlings!

Over and out,
Mother Earth

Interesting photo shoot.

Hey Lauren, just a thought have you ever considered making a Myspace page for the Galaxy Girls? Just curious, I see people make them for diffrent cartoon charecters and I wonder if the thoughts crossed your mind.

Didn't know there was a Foster's float. Cool.

Hey, great shots there, Lauren. I saw the preview of the Foster's float on the Today Show this week, and I'm very impressed with the sneak preview of it. :) It's great that you're going to witness it at the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade.

Have a safe and pleasant Thanksgiving holiday!

Wow, that's a TON of work and detail on each of the earrings and tires! They all look so perfect. :-) Have a great trip to NY! Sooo exciting! Take LOTs of pic of the float of course, and of NY.
